Dropped stitch on edge of garment

I dropped a stitch in the border of a little sweater I’m knitting.

I unraveled the edge stitch down to the row where the dropped stitch was (mistake!). I picked up that one all the way up - the border is in seed stitch, but I figured if I got all the stitches back up to the row I’m working on, I’d fix that problem next. Now, however, I have the edge st dropped about 10 rows down, and I don’t know how to fix that. there is nothing to pick it up with.
do I have to unravel all these rows and just start up again?

thanks for any and all help!

Try not to drop the edge stitch, they’re really hard to pick up. I don’t if it’s more than 2-3 rows down. I don’t know of an easier fix than ripping back, sorry.

thank you - I was afraid of that.
I guess I’ll get busy pulling stitches out.
