Could someone tell me what it is to "Yo the drop the Yo on the next round? And how do u T2L or T2R? This is not done with a cable needle.
It can be done with a cable needle but it’s easier on the two you already work with. The pattern should have specific instructions on this, possibly in a different part of the book or on the company’s website for online patterns. http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall06/FEATminicables.html
and a yo is on the videos here I expect or check out the abbreviations for a text instruction. It’s just a loop. Dropping a stitch means you move it off the needle.
A yo is an extra wrap around the needle. When you come to it on the next row, slip it off the needle and let it drop without making a stitch in it. That’s only true in this pattern; other patterns use the YO as an increase and you knit or purl it according to the directions.
T2L means you’re going to make a tiny cable by knitting 2 stitches out of order; you’ll knit the 2nd one, then the first, which twists the stitches. See above link.

That’s what i thought. I tried it in this pattern that calls for you to knit 6 Yo K1 yo2 k1 yo3 k1 yo4 k1 yo3 k1 yo2 knit 6 and then on the next row you knit dropping those stitches you made with Yo but it turned out looking really bad. So i frogged it
I’ve used Yo before and it worked out fine. I’ve never dropped them before, maybe i wasn’t supposed to pull the yarn tight after? The pattern was for a morning surf scarf i found online.
Thanks for your help
I always think that multiple YOs that you drop look kind of sloppy til you get through a few rows of them. A gentle tug on the work straightens it a bit, too, and improves them.
