Dr who doll

Hi Everyone ,

Here is my attempt at a Dr Who doll based on the character played by David Tennant.
He is part Alan Dart Pirate and then i used ammendments from a lady on Ravelry to make him into Dr Who .

Thanks CherryRed:)
This was actually given as a gift today to a very dear friend Mike who loved it

What a project. That is so neat and what a wonderful gift for your friend.

That’s so nice! Share the pattern!

The pattern is partly Alan darts Pirate and the ammendments to turn him into dr who are from Cherryred on Ravelry . As they are her notes . Anyonewho wants them can ask her through Ravelry .
You will need the original Alan Dart pitare pattern along with the ammended notes to complete him .
I did however change the hands and the waistcoat a bit .

Wow he looks great

I love it!

:happydance: It looks great!!

That is awesome!! Love it lol.

I love how you made the nose!! The hair is AWESOME !!! Loves it!!! :muah:

Really cute. I haven’t seen the new Doctor. The one we used to watch on the tellie was the one with the wild hair and long scarf. We loved him. I’ve seen some episodes we got from the library of the doctor before the latest one. I didn’t like him all that well.

I have been a fan since i was a kid and these new ones are great . I recommend them

Thanks

What a great character doll, Rita. Dr. Who is one of my favorite shows, although I liked the Tom Baker Dr. Who the best. Our son called the program “Dr.Whoot” when he was way little.

You could go into business selling your work, it’s always very good!

Thanks so much Debkcs  Not too sure i could churn them out at selling rate though .
I do enjoy making them .
My fave Dr Who when i was young was also Tom Baker .

Love him!

Looks great Rita. Fantastic work as always.

Thanks everyone , I am really proud of him . He was made in record time in just 3 -4 days .

These dolls must be so darn fun to knit! They sure are fun to see!!!

Well ! They can be fun and they can be a real pain to make as well . Why don’t you give it a go
