Hi! I am currently working on double pointed needles and it is one of my first projects on dpns xD
I am going through this project and I think I stuffed something up, but I don’t want to have to rip it…
I’m knitting a plush toy and had nearly finished the head, except it called for ears (a bunny) so I started following the instructions…

Next rnd: k6, bo7, k12, BO7, k6.[/I]
Being an extreme novice to dpns, I just went with it and did as it asked. I knitted 6, then binded off 7 (the basic method, where you knit two stitches then slip one off) but I realized that one stitch - which I was going to bind off - was left on the needle that I no longer was knitting from, if that makes sense?
So I ignored that, thinking it was normal, then knitted 12, and now I’m up to binding off 7 then knitting 6 - but there isn’t enough stitches!
I had the correct number of stitches when I began working on the ears, so I definitely stuffed something up and I have a feeling it’s to do with the way I binded off xD
Help? Also - I really don’t want to rip it! Is there a way for me to go back, picking up stitches from the knitting and putting them back on my needles; even the binded off bits? I don’t know what that’s called so I can’t google it !
Thanks for your time!! Muchly appreciated! :cheering:
