if something calls foryou to use dpns with a cast onof 108 st…could you used circulars instead? is there s reason the pattern calles for dpns instead of circulars?

If it gets smaller to the point where you need dpns, maybe it’s just saving you the trouble of having to have the circs on hand, too. If it fits on the circ and you have one the right size, use it. I always do. The only exception is if the pattern is written in a way that refers to needles 1, 2, 3–then it’s easier to just start with the dpns.
i’m using #2 and 3. its for a baby beret. so i just started and it doesnt get small on the size 2 at all then it gets wider n the 3 then small… i just can never seem to use the small dpns with much success. so i think i will use circs cause i am klling my hands!!! thanks ingrid!
