Welcome to Knitting Help!
Use the larger size needle in your right hand and purl across the row. Purl 2tog every 3-4sts (purl 3 or 4sts and then purl the next 2sts together). It helps to place a marker midway in the piece so that you can decrease about 11sts in the first half and 11 in the second. Continue in stockinette stitch.
Thanks for quick reply. still confused whether to purl next row fully or should decrease in the first row of purling itself?
As you purl across the row, decrease 22sts. You can read the directions as:
"Change to larger needle and p next row, decreasing 22 sts evenly spaced across "
thanks a lot for your reply. will contonue now and will get back to you when i get doubt
