I have been a knitter and crocheter for many years. I also do other needle work and sew.
I ‘m not understanding a pattern. I’m knitting on double pointed needles making some Mitts. The pattern says to work in St stitch,for 2 rounds, then to knit one round on the right side and to purl one round on the wrong side. For the purl row my working yarn isn’t on my right needle it’s on the left.I tried this but I end up with a gap and my work isn’t joined!
