Hi everyone, I am knitting a raglan sweater (my first) for my daughter (also my first girl) 
and I am onto the sleeves and knitting them on dp’s. How do I make the transition from each needle tighter. I end up with a looser seam when I go from one needle to the other. I have tried knitting into the back of the loop, but then that looks a bit odd too. :??

Try reading thru this tutorial and see if it helps:
Knit the first and last stitches on each needle a little tighter than usual. Don’t knit through the back loop – ladders will tend to disappear in the wash, and stretching the knitting will also help, but twisted stitches are forever!
Thank you so much, I think I will take the sleeve off and start again. I forgot those things were called ladders.
