Hi to anyone who can help. I am knitting a pillow and the instructions read “Knit Double Increase into first 2 stitches. [K, YO, K] all in the same stitch.” I’ve tried a couple things, but it just doesn’t seem to work. Sarah
You knit, but don’t slide it off, then bring the yarn to the front between the needles and knit into the same stitch again with the yarn coming from there. It will create the yo as you knit into the stitch the second time.
Thank you so much for the “only” reply. Does it make 3 stitches when done correctly? Is this different from knitting in to the front and back of a stitch? That makes 4. :cheering:
You should have 3 stitches where you had one before.
