Dont understand pattern

Hi,
I’m new here and to knitting.
Have made a few easy things and now tried to pick an easy cardi pattern but have stumbled at the first hurdle! Please could you explain the following,

Inc 1 st at each end of next and 1 foll 22nd rows, then on 2 foll 24th rows. 80 sts.

The pattern is from Ravelry Rowan Corrina Cardigan I’m sure its easy once I know how!

Call the next row, row 1. Increase at each end of row 1 and then row 23, 47 and 71.
Enjoy working this lovely pattern
