Anyone know a doily pattern (not too holey" LOL) that I can convert nto an afghan? From what I uderstand, it shoud have at least 20 some rounds to be a good sized ghan.
You should be able to take any doily and by using worsted yarn and a large hook (maybe a K) it should work. If there’s repeatable rounds all the better.

I did it awhile back using worsted weight yarn with a size 5 hook…It came out to be around 2 feet in diameter…I think I may have posted a pic of my FO here as well…It was a fun project and came out looking great…

This is probably something you might have already considered, but you can also take a doily motif and do as many squares as you want. Then sew them all together. Generally, these motifs will work in any size yarn, too.
