Dog sweater question.....

Hi everyone… I’ve got a “silly” question to make… I want to knit a sweater for my Dogo Argentino… So, I found the pattern, the measurements fit, but I wonder… How can I be sure about the leg openings, that they will be in the right place??

I mean, it’s obvious that not all large dog breeds measure the same between their legs, or from collar point to the “front” of front legs…:confused: :confused:

It’s a good question. Can you measure the lengths that you need on your dog and see if they match up reasonably well to the pattern dimensions? Knits are stretchy so you don’t have to be exact but it would help to be close.
