Dog sweater arm hole shaping need help

I am working a pattern http://www.yarnspirations.com/pattern/knitting/i-matey-dog-coat
I am confussed on how to continue pattern , not sure to take some stitchs to a stich holder or how to get the leg holes shapped. anyone know of a how to video or detailed pictures on how to do this.

Shape Leg Openings and Place Chart:
1st row: K4 (5-6-10). Cast off next 4 (5-6-9)
sts. K8 (12-14-27) (including st on needle after
cast off). Work Chart A (A-B-B) across next 20
(20-26-26) sts reading row from right to left.
K8 (12-14-27). Cast off next 4 (5-6-9) sts.
Knit to end of row.
Note: All Leg Sections are worked at the same
time using a separate ball of yarn for each
section (keeping continuity of chart
throughout).
Beg with a purl row work 1 (1½-2-2½) ins [2.5
(4-5-6) cm] even from cast off sts (keeping
continuity of chart), ending with RS facing for
next row.
Next row: (joining row). K4 (5-6-10). Cast on
4 (5-6-9) sts. K36 (44-54-80) sts (including
chart sts). Cast on 4 (5-6-9) sts. Knit to end of
row. 52 (64-78-118) sts.
Cont even until work after neckband measures
4½ (5½-7-10) ins [11.5 (14-18-25.5) cm],
ending with RS facing for next row and
working with MC only when chart is complete.
Place a marker at each end of last row.

You don’t have to put any stitches on a holder. You’re going to cast off stitches where they tell you to, and then work each section between the cast-offs with it’s own ball of yarn.

When you’ve worked all the sections for as long as your size calls for, you’re going to cast on stitches and work the remainder in one piece.

Thank you so much! I really could not figure out what the heck they were trying to tell me either!
