Ok, I’m a creator. I can’t help it- I was just born that way I guess. 
I’m in the process of unraveling a sweater to harvest the yarn for something else and since I’m new to these great finds and very inexperienced at winding and handling yarn that wasn’t rolled or skeined with a machine I came up with this nifty spinner thingy.
I still have to figure out how to wind the yarn into balls without twisting it… or perhaps it’s twisting when I knit. :?? Don’t know yet. Anywho. Here’s my latest creation made from stuff around the house…
The Yarn Spinner Thingy.
It’s 36" around the dowels and as you can see it spins.
Has anyone come up with innovative ideas to aid them with knitting?
