Does anyone recognise this pattern

Ive just hot this pattern and im trying to find a video I can watch because im getting now where the stitches themselves are self explanatory but I must be doing something wrong

What is the name of the cardigan pattern? Can you give us a link to it?

When I do the two rows and come back to do the first row again where ive yrfwd do I drop that or purl it if that makes sense

Yfwd or yarn forward is telling you how to move the yarn and is not a yarn over. Move the yarn to the front between the needles and leave it there. Slip the next stitch purlwise, then move the yarn to the back (ybk) between the needles. This won’t create an extra loop over the needle the way that a yarn over does. It’ll give you a little dash - in front of the slipped stitch as seen from the side of the cardi that is currently facing you.

This video shows the stitch at the 1:15 minute mark. Move the yarn to the front, slip the next stitch purlwise, move the yarn to the back:
