Do I need to block a hat?

I’ve now made 2 hats, and I’m about to make another. I’ve just heard about blocking. Do I need to block these hats? I read the KH article about blocking, but it didn’t mention hats. Maybe you don’t block hats?

For most hats I don’t think you would need to…unless it had a design… or you wanted to make the stitches look more even… :thumbsup:

And as for making the stitches more even, wash it and that should help too. You can let dry, but you don’t need to block as in pin it out.
