I really want to knit this bear as a Christmas gift for my friends, but Im a newbie knitter and Im not sure if I need to use circular needles for this:

It says I have to be good at working in rounds, but Im not sure what that means…
Working in rounds means you are working with 3 or more double pointed needles (dpns). You will have an equal (or almost) number of sts/needle and once you’ve worked all the sts on one, you will simply continue around to the next ndl so you are knitting in a circle instead of back and forth. does that help?
To work in the round you need to use a long circular and the magic loop method, or dpns.
