Directions help Please

First of all thank you for all your help. Now I have another question.
The pattern is from www.coatsandclark.com/Templates/Controls.
It is for the Split Neck Raglan sweater. For the fron the directions say Sl 1, K1, psso, K7, turn and put rem sts on holder. what holder?

Next question. Using circular needles for the first time and directions say to work back and forth for two inches. Does back and forth mean like working with “regular” knitting needles?:knitting:

Your link didn’t work for me, but here’s what I think:

  1. What holder? Whatever holder you want. You can use a stitch holder (looks like a big safety pin) or some spare yarn or whatever- the idea is to keep those stitches “live”, but not work with them at the moment. You’ll come back to them later.

  2. Yup, it means working just like with straight needles. Knit to the end of the row and then turn the whole thing around and go back the other way.

THANK-YOU!!!

You’re welcome!
