Directions for shoulder shaping - HELP!

My pattern says: At beg of row, bind off 7 sts 2 times, then 6 sts, then 6 sts 4 times. Bind off remaining 33 sts for back neck.

Does this mean at the beg of the row, I bind off 7 sts and knit to end of that row, then on the next row bind off 7 sts? And then at the beg of the next row bind off 6 sts, and again at the beginning of the next 3 rows the same? Then bind off the remaining 33 sts?

Thanks in advance,
Laura

Laura,

Is that exactly what it says? The “then 6 stitches” thrown into the middle there confuses me.

If it only said, " At beg of row, bind off 7 sts 2 times, then 6 sts 4 times. Bind off remaining 33 sts for back neck." what you said would be right. I think maybe that is what you meant to type. You should be binding off at the beginning of each new row the stitches as given 7,7,6,6,6,6. Then you will have 33 left and you bind those off.

Yes Merigold you are right, I must have typed the then 6 sts twice. Thanks!
