After reading this forum for a few days, you lot have turned me into a maniac.
All I wanted was to learn how to knit cables and how to knit on four needles and now look at what I’ve done.
I’ve gone and splurged out on a bakers dozen balls of pure new wool for a booga bag (and forgot to get the circular needle while I was there  ), more yarn for some socks and DPNs.
If that wasn’t bad enough, I went online this afternoon to talk to a couple of friends, showed them the booga bag pattern and now they’ve come down with the knitting bug too. I feel like typhoid Mary.
Anyhow, I either need to stop looking at the threads on this site or I need an extra few pairs of hands. :XX: :XX: :XX:
Did you ever wish for more than two hands?
Sounds like you’re officially addicted…
Have fun!!
Go Hepsibah, Go Hepsibah, Go Hepsibah…(Carolina Red chants while doing the “Cabbage Patch”) :happydance:
Now, you know how the rest of us feel - utterly in love with yarn, needles, patterns, and knitting gadgets! Lot of times, I’ll buy a skein of yarn just because it’s pretty, with no intention of ever knitting anything with it. Now THAT’s bad!
Isn’t being an addict fun?? LOL
I have to admit, once I started on DPN’s, I am hooked. Big time. I love, love, love them. I don’t know why really. There’s just something about 4 needles that makes me happy…lol.
I know that I ordered like 15 skeins of wool from KnitPicks and I need to make another order soon. I’m on my 2nd bag and have 1 more I want to make.
Plus, everytime I go to a craft store, I head straight to the yarn just to see what’s new…lol
