Today in the mail I got “Annie’s Attic” catalog. On page 39 there is a BEAUTIFUL “Sasha Skirt pattern”. It’s a peasant style skirt knit of LAYERS of lacy patterns with underskirt. Its really so pretty!! If I were a lot thinner and younger…I’d sure want to knit and wear one. Here it is see below in layers of blue.
Ohhh it looks beautiful! I agree though…it’d take a LOT of yarn to cover my wide backside!
Pretty! I’d go broke knitting it in Euroflax though!
I’ve seen that skirt somewhere before… I just wish I could remember where.
That’s what I thought!!! Now it’s really going to bug me.
I think that model needs to go eat a cheeseburger and a hot fudge sundae.
The skirt’s cute though.

I was thinking the same thing. I’m just jealous because I stepped on the scale the other day and I weigh more than I ever have (not counting when I was pregnant).
Me, too, JLC. I’m blaming it on shifting hormones.
That’s very pretty! And I’m probably thin enough, but somehow I don’t think I’m young enough any more - sad.
Really cute! Thanks for pointing that out. Not sure I’d want to add all those over layers though.
I got the Annie’s Attck cataloge in the mail the other day. I put it in the recyling
