Desperately need help

after knitting three rows i realized i was following the wrong pattern. i was k-ing on p. and p-ing on k stitches. this is my first knitting project and i need to know how i can go back three rows without loosing all 192 of the rows i’ve done correctly. please help me.

You can literally unknit the three rows and re-knit them. You could also insert you needle in the row you want to unravel to and then just rip the three rows out. Amy has some videos under knitting tips explaining how to fix mistakes…http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/knitting-tips

What a fabulous idea! I’m usually ripping out rows one at a time, but i never even thought to just insert the needle into the row I want to get to and then rip out the rows above. This is one tip that’s going into my knitter’s handbook.
