Hey everyone. Know how in Fair Isle, you make the design with the contrasting color? Can you do a similar thing (though definitely not standing out as much) from purl bumps? Like put purls instead of the other color? Would you still see the pattern?

Yes you can do that.
You can do that. You can also do the contrasting color in purl stitches. That’s pretty much what a Bohus sweater is, but with more deeply involved patterns with 3 colors in each row.
