Definition of "end on WS"

when directions say to “end on WS”, do they mean finish the WS so you are ready to start on the right side? Or do they mean to finish the RS and you are ready to continue the patten starting on the WS? Thanks for any help!:oo:

I have always taken it to mean that the last row completed is a WS row, ready to start on the RS.

That I why I heart knitting in the round, no WS/RS issues

Do WS (you’re ready to do RS).

Meaning: You have finished the wrong side row. You are ready to turn and do a right side row.
