Hi. I have a question on a baby sweater I’m knitting. The pattern says: Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 5 rows. Does that mean dec on the right side and across for the first dec for row 1st row or does it mean Dec on each side of first row to make row one… so does the knit side mean row 1 and then the purl side row 2 etc. Geez, I’ve actually knit a baby sweater before but I’m just picking up my needles after not using them for a good bit!
