Hello–Need help understanding how to go about decreasing the mitten tip of this particular pattern, 19 stitches on dpn: Rnd 1: Knit, decreasing 6 stitches evenly spaced along round. Rnd 2: knit even. Rnd 3: Knit, decreasing 6 sts evenly…Rnd 4: Knit, decreasing 6 sts evenly… Not understanding “decreasing 6 stitches evenly spaced…” Maybe it’s just the way it is worded. I get the idea to knit 2 stitches together to decrease but the number “6” and “evenly spaced” are throwing me off. Please help–Thanks!
They’re just saying to spread the decreases out as evenly as you can. If you start with 19, you can k1, k2tog pretty much all the way around, ending with k1. On the 13 that are left, you can k2tog all the way across with one left over.
