Hi I am new to this forum.

Can I get help with a cardigan pattern

Left front
Shape front neck:
keeping pattern correct, dec 1st at end of next row and 1(3)(5) following alternate row(s), “then on 7 following 4th rows - 42 (46)(50)”.

I just don’t know what they are asking for between “”. Like how many rows am I doing

Hi and welcome!

After the last decrease of the “dec 1st at end of next row and 1(3)(5) following alternate row(s)” decrease on rows 4,8,12,16,20,24 and 28. The final numbers in parentheses are the stitch totals depending on the size you’re making.
