Decreasing for armhole mistake

I made a mistake decreasing for the armhole edge for the back and sides of a sweater and would like to know if I can get away with the way I did it or will have to rip out.
The pattern says to “decrease one stitch at armhole edge of next and 2 foll 4th rows.” I decreased one stitch at the armhole edge of the next and following 2 rows, not after a 4th row. The decreases, in other words, were every row, not skipping to the 4th row. When I got to knitting the sleeve, I realized that I should not have decreased every row. Will this still work? Thanks.

If you do the sleeve decs the same way so they match it should be okay.
