I have recently downloaded a pattern for knitting a decreasing cable towel topper. For rows 31-51:61k1,p1 rib are the instructions. Can anybody put this into English for me? I’ve tried a number of sites and they all come back to this pattern, with the same instructions with no explanation.
What pattern? Can you give us a link, please? I know it’s not allowed on a first post, you should be able to now.
It looks to me as if there’s a typo. What comes immediately before and after this instruction?
Are there 61 stitches on the needle?

This looks like the pattern:
GGs right, it is a typo. Rows 31-51 are k1, p1 rib. It should read: 31-51: k1, p1 rib
