Decrease pattern help!

Please help!!!
" dec 1 st at each end of next and 6 foll 4th rows, then on foll 11 alt rows." What does this mean??

On these rows, be sure to decrease one st at [I]each[/I] end (so you decrease 2sts per row). You dec on the next row and then every 4th row for 6 times. Then dec every other row, 11 times.
So if you call the next row, row1, the decreasses would be on rows 1,5,9,13,17,21,25 and then27,29,31,33,35,37,39,41,43,45,47.
