decrease on raglan armhole

Hello, I have 33 stitches on the needle and need to get to 4 stitches with the following 2 sentences. I end up with 10 stitches. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  1. Decrease I stitch at raglan armhole edge of next 11 rows, then on foll 5 alt rows.
  2. At same time, decrease 1 stitch on front edge of next 5 rows, then on 8 alt rows.

I find it easier to write these out by row number and then cross off the rows as I finish them.
If you call the next row, row 1, then decrease at the raglan armhole on rows and 11, then rows 13,15,17,19 and 21.
Decrease at the front edge of rows 1,2,3,4,5, then rows and 21.

Agreeing with salmonmac and adding that yes you should end up with 4 sts. The total amount of decreases adds up to 29(11+5+5+8) taken from the 33sts on your needle should leave you with 4 sts.
