Decrease Help needed PLEASE!

I am making a tank top and there is a motif of hearts around the bottom of the tank.

Row 15 of the motif is as follows:

k2 yo sl1 k2tog psso yo k3 yo dec2 yo k2

I am not sure how to do the dec2 - any help would be appreciated.

I checked the key in the book and dec2 is not listed.

This is your dec 2. I guess they were too lazy to write it out over and over. :!!!:

I think they meant k3tog, it would lean toward the sl 1, k2tog, psso dec.

I believe the you are right.

The pattern is actually a chart so I do not think that the dec2 and the other decrease are the same.

I just tried it and it looks perfect with the knit 3 together.

You weren’t incorrect Ingrid… I just thought it made sense in the lace pattern to do matching decs. :shrug:

Thanks again Sue - I got all the rows for the heart motif done - I just went to get my hair cut and colored and finished that section while the color was processing. The hearts look great thanks to you!
