Decrease for raglan sweater

WS: P1 K1 3 times. purl to last 6 stitches, K1P1 3 tims
RS: (dec) K1 P1 3 times, dec right, k to last 9 stitches, sl1, K2tog, psso, P1 K1 3 times.

This is where I get confused:
Cont working as set, dec 2 sts each end of foll 6th row once, then on every foll 4th row 14 times.
work 3 rows, cast off rem sts.

I’m just not sure what all that means. Cont working as set? Is the set the WS+RS row? Each end of foll 6th row? Is that the 6th row or the 6th set of the WS+RS? I’m just a bit confused. Any help clarifying this would be greatly appreciated.

Continue as set means to repeat row 1 and 2 but do not repeat the decreases. The “as set” refers to the placement of the decreases along the row, not to the set of rows 1 and 2.
Only decrease as given on row 2 on the following 6th row and then rows 10, 14, 18, 22, 26 etc for 14 rows.
