Darning needles and bind off oh my!

Hey guys I have such a newbie question
I watched the video on bind off and really did okay with it until…the last stitch. What do I do with the last stitch? I have a scarf finished except for this one pesky problem
Oh well while I’m here can you guys tell me where to find large darning needles. The only place where I live that has any craft selection is Walmart and let’s be honest that means no crafts supplies where I live.
Since I am a newbie I’m trying to get all my basic kniting supplies (when I have any extra cash whatsoever) and Walmart just isn’t doing it for me.

Thanks for reading guys. Hopefully you can help my trapped scarf

You’re not the first to ask that question! Just cut your yarn, pull it through that last loop and pull tight! Done.

I’ll let someone else suggest a place to get tapestry needles. They’re available everywhere, but if that’s the only thing you’re going to buy on line, the shipping would be more than the purchase. However, if you’re going to get yarn too, . . . .

Even at WalMart you can get tapestry needles. Just look in the embroidery/cross-stitch/needlepoint section of their crafts department. Or you can order them from Joanne or Mary Maxim or Clotilde.

it’s free, it’s free!!! Thank God I have a scarf now. Ding Dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch. :happydance: :sunny: :balloons: :cheering:
Sorry but I’m really really happy about this. I have a project free from the needles. Thanks Ingrid  I was worried about the online ordering for that very same reason. There is a Hobby Lobby about an hour from here bo you think that will work???

:XX: <<<< me starting new scarf since I can!!!
Ashley

Hobby Lobby should have them!

thanks bjc I might have overlooked them at Wal-Mart. I will go back at try yet again.

well i think a few people around here would know that i am loathe to ever suggest getting anything at walmart but they should definitely have them but i think the trip to hobby lobby just to have some choice in yarn would be well worth it.

my first scarf sat on the corner of my couch for about a week before i found out what to do with that last stitch. every video i could find said how to bind off but never showed that last stitch…thank goodness i found this place…lol.
