Just finished the front of this cute Dalmatian jumper for my granddaughter trying to decide wether to do red and white stripped sleeves or plain red.

What pattern did you use? I love the puppy. I have a great grandson due soon and might get it made before he outgrows it. lol

So many decisions I just use any jumper pattern then add the design to it I find cross stitch charts work very well.

I second GGs idea of paw prints on the sleeves, that would be terrific.
If it were me and I did the striped sleeves, I think black and white would look good, but plain red would as well.

Yes, I was thinking black and white sleeves would be cute, either stripes or white with black Dalmatian spots!

Well I’ve completed the back now so on to the sleeves thank you for all your ideas I still can’t decide.
Maybe working a small swatch in several of the ideas would help? or could you make a simple diagram of the sweater and color in the alternative sleeves?
This is my problem every day!
Will it confuse you more if you have a dalmation spot chart?
One red sleeve, one black and white spotted?

All sleeve options are great. I would knit plain red sleeves so that the dalmation would stand out more and be the main focus. My opinion only. Whatever you decide it will be a knock out jumper.
I just wanted to post a update on the jumper I decided to go with stripes my original idea and I love the the way it looks.
