Im actually new to Dallas but I was thinking maybe somewhere downtown, museum, somewhere safe and very public. Any suggestions??:cheering:

Hmm… the DMA downtown has a nice open sunny lobby area in front with a little cafe.

Looks like there’s a City Arts celebration that weekend, though, complete with street closures, so should be pretty public, as well.

I think the DMA is perfect. Ill be there if you will!!! It will give my husband something to do.:cheering:

If we dont have others to knit with there…not many responses:pout: we can always knit with the people in Ft Worth at their local library. Not too far

I would meet you too, but I don’t know if the DMA would let us in with knitting needles. We might want to stab some artwork.

I would say meet at the Arboretum, but there is an admission charge…

There is a park near my house (in Richardson) with a nice duck pond and tables - maybe there is one more centrally located we can congregate at?

How about meeting at Northpark Shopping Center (Central Expressway and Northwest Highway) at 2:00 on June 9?

There is a park area in the middle of the 1st floor. Whoever gets there first can pull out her knitting so the rest of us can find each other.
