I am making the Daisy pattern from Knitty and decided to add a hood, however two inches intot he hood i realised i dont have enough yarn.
I have knit the body of the cardigan in red with white trim and white sleeves with red cuffs. I was going to knit the hood in red so it was part of the body and continue the white trim around the edge. However i have almost run out of red yarn after only two inches when the pattern calls for 7 inches. Should i:
a) rip back to the neck edge and not have a hood.
b) rip back to the neck edge and carry on the hood in white with red trim.
c) Finish the red here and, add a white trim and bind off here creating a sort of large rolled collar?
