I’m afraid I’m with Sue though. I saw those size 1 needles and thought, “I’ll never finish him if I can’t even finish a pair of socks with size 3 needles!”

Well I’ve never completed a projects with needles that small … so I’ll have to let you know how it goes.

What a wonderful project for you! I used to make sock monkeys from purchased mens’ work socks, and fell in love with the monkeys. But it never occurred to me to actually knit the sock! I look forward to your progress reports.
