D: Don't know what to knit!

I want to knit my mom a gift by the 24th. Thing is, I have no idea what to knit her.

I don’t have the time to knit anything too big. I’ve got alot of housework to do. Garden work anddd. I’m in Drivers Ed, which lasts from 8 in the morning till half 2 in the afternoon. >.o

Any ideas? o_o

Knitted clock?

i just read in one of the other threads that someone finished a booga bag in two days (including felting). why don’t you try that?

Haha. A knitted clock?
Details pleasee;

I would but I am low on cassh. I’m trying to just use yarn I have here and none of it is feltable. o.o

Yep, I’m doing a knitted clock for my mom right now.

Look at this thread http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/showthread.php?t=59684

The one I’m doing is 12" by 12".

That is so cool! o:

How about a calorimetry?

Or the Lana and Clark Ascot?

Could you do a spa kit? Facecloth, bath mitt, slippers, etc? Maybe pair it with a lotion and some smelly soaps?

My mom has suuuper short hair. Like. shorter than most teenage guys nowadays. And shes’ not one for scarves or anything.

I like that idea, PandaCa.

Thing is. My mom is a VetTech and she looooves Cats. and. I am a Christmas fanatic. Last year I got excited about Christmas in October. This year in June. And June is halfway through the year, so we’re having a Pre-Christmas on the 24th. Since…I have school the 25th.
So; She loves Animals and. feet things. o.O and uhm. TeeVee. Haha.

Yeah I thought so too. I’m doing mine a tad different from the pic though. Instead of a seed stitch for the outside border I’m doing a 1x1 rib to make a more distinct border.

What about the ‘heart’ scarf that was in the Knitty special issue for Breast Cancer awareness month? I saw in the FO subforum that someone had done it and it looks gorgeous. You should be able to search there to find the pattern.

HTH,
Mel

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys!

Still open to a few more, though. =]

How about this knitted stuffed cat:

I’ve had that pattern bookmarked for half a year at least…I plan on making it myself!

=] Thanks;
