Currently knitting very basic stuff

A stockinette stitch scarf for (?) in a super soft light gray wool (boring, I know but I DID learn to unpurl a purl and unknit a knit on it! so YAY!)

A garter stitch baby bib so I can learn to make a buttonhole (and have another mindless project)…also hoping to get pregnant next cycle, so planning ahead??? :heart:

Planning on doing a corner to corner baby blanket next. Wow, yarn overs! Really branching out, I am! Also planning to make the palindrome cable scarf for my Mom for Christmas. (or Valentine’s Day at the rate I knit!)

Sounds like you have the right idea. Learn a little something new on each project and you will soon know a lot. :slight_smile: All that “mindless” knitting will get the stitches engraved into your mind, which will pay off.
