Okeydokey, I’ve foregone the little bobbles for a more (dare I say it?) CUTE design. As always, I’m making it up as I go, so the way I added the flap is by using a tapestry needle to wrap yarn through the hat and around a DPN, and then did my best to eyball a round decrease. I sewed the flap down in the middle so that it still curls up a little, but not all the way. Suggestions/comments?
I liked the bobbles on the original, but this is cute, too.
