i bought one hank of cherry tree hill baby sachet,4 oz/350 yds, 100% nylon ribbon . what do i do with it?
the colorway is "lifes a beach"

It shows an image of a pattern for a shawl that is small but quite striking.

I’ve seen other patterns for large shawls and even a knapsack but they combine with or ‘layer’ (alternate row sections for the shawl) with other cherry tree hill yarns. The shawl alternated with Sachet with ‘Froth’.

Do you like any of these? A wrap is there but that would take two hanks.

thanks susan, i did see those patterns, they seem to be the only ones i can find :pout: maybe i should use it as an accent yarn on a summer tank or bag :shrug: i probably should have bought more :doh:

Is it both strong and washable? If you wove it and put it on a backing (perhaps thin quilt style?) it would make some lovely summer place mats?

I had meant to add that I sometimes use a spray on stain repellent product on items like that. Even cushion covers. But another idea (better perhaps) would be to weave it, glue that onto a cork backing and then lacquer the whole thing. That would resolve cleaning problems - just a wipe down and you would have a lovely unique product.
