I am crocheting a simple top and really need some help on shaping the armhole and neckline.
I saw a lady wearing this simple top with a beautiful half circle pattern on one side of the bodice… And I can’t find the pattern anywhere so I decided to create 1 myself but am stuck now at shaping the armhole and neckline… Can someone kindly help me out? Is there a formula or equation to it?

There may be a simple pattern generator out there that you can adapt to your stitch pattern and gauge but I couldn’t find one. You might take the measurement of a vest or sweater that you like or hold the crocheted piece up to your body as you work to check the depth and length of the armholes and neck.
You might find a similar basic pattern that you could use as a guide for shaping the armholes and neckline. Have you crocheted tops before? If so you might just make it up as you go along. It’s worked for me.
