i have been looking for a plain diagonal blanket
i cant seem to find it whatever i do find is very fancy
this is for charity and i want it to be warm
and i have forgotten the links to the free patterns
can anyone help

You can use this pattern as a template. http://www.bfranklincrafts.com/CraftIdeas/CraftIdea-CrochetThrow.html Looks easy enough to adjust. The only other diagonal pattern I could find is the box stitch that Yarnlady mentioned. I use that one a lot because it’s so quick, but it can be an airy fabric. The lionbrand one looks more solid.
