Crochet converted to knitting

Is there a way to convert patterns from crochet to knitting or vise versa?

There is a crochet pattern to make a box but I am a knitter.

yep, there’s a book “From Needles to Hooks”, how to convert “knit” to “crochet”…

There are knitting patterns to make felted bowls or box shapes.

and I know the first Mason Dixon Knitting book has a pattern for felted boxes in it. You could try your library.
