Crochet border on knit baby blanket?

I finished knitting the log cabin Moderne baby blanket. I wanted to crochet a border around the blanket. I cannot decide between a simple single crochet border(3 rows) or a frilly border like this scalloped border. Which do you think would look better?

Btw, the blanket is for a baby boy. The blanket colors are blue, stone grey, taupe brown and white. The border would be done using the white.

i am actually working on my own version of a log cabin blanket for my son!

i think a simple single crochet border would suit it best.

I would have to agree - single crochet would be more suitable
:knitting:

I would use a crab stitch or a couple of rows of half double stitches as they will give you a nice edge with the stitch itself.
