Create a twisted stitch when making a mobius

I am making a cowl shawl and would like it to have a twist. How do i do it?

A true mobius is a special cast on and you end up knitting from the center out to the edges at the same time.

You can try just casting on and then twisting the cast on once and see if that works for you.
