Crap! Math Error

I thought I had done the math so that I knew exactly how many skeins if yarn I need for the turtleneck sweater. I am now working on a sleeve and it’s obvious I miscalculated by 1 skein of each color.

Guess I need to make a Hobby Lobby stop and pick up a few skeins.

Aaaarghhhh!-- I feel your pain!

Oh, I’m so sorry! What a pain!

I hate it when that happens! I must be a tight knitter b/c I was short a ball for my last project. I had picked up the yarn months ago and I was still able to get one last ball in the same dye lot.

Oh that bites! :hair:

Bummer! I’ve been wondering how the turtleneck was going.

Ugh, what a PITA!

Ugh - I hate when that happens! Glad you can get the extras you need.

Math error… :woohoo:
Happens to me all the time. Can’t do maths in my head.

Example: What is 3*4? My answer… 16

Ok, wow. And that’s not the only example

Yeah, but in the case of knitting math errors at least you’ll have MORE than you need? Look at it positively!

OH, I hate it when that happens! YIKES!

Hopefully, you can find exactly what you need. I’ll bet from now on, you buy one extra of everything - and RETURN IT if you don’t wind up needing it. (RETURN YARN?!? Heresy, I know! Will I be excommunicated from the boards for saying that?)

:zombie:

I always buy extra and when I have it left I just save it. You can always use it for stashgan, hats, mitts, charity projects. Always something you can use it for.

I hate when I do that.
