My friend and her DH just bought a cabin in New Hampshire, and she’s my first friend to own property (since I’m only 23) so I’m super excited for her. I’d love to knit her something for her cabin but I’m not sure what. Maybe an afgan or something? Anyone have suggestions or patterns?

I saw that Ingrid did an amazing mitered squares afghan. She has it posted on Ravelry, haven’t checked to see if she posted it here or not. You should check it out! I think it’d be perfect for a cabin knit 
I think an afghan would be perfect (though I’ve never done one). There are tons of free patterns available - I was thinking the log cabin afghan (because it has a “cabiny” theme :)).
