I need to bind off. I am planning to bind off as per the videos on this site, but I don’t know what to do with the last stitch, as there isn’t another stitch to slip it over.
What you’ll do is cut the working yarn and leave a tail about 6 inches long on the end. Then you will take the tail and slip it through the last stitch on the needle. Slip the stitch off the needle and pull the tail to pull it tight. Then you’ll weave the tail into the knitting to hide it.
When you have one last loop on your needle, cut the yarn leaving about 6" for a tail and either thread it through the loop, or pull the loop out. Then thread the tail through the nearby stitches.
